I actually used Schooner Realty to buy our current home in Santa Cruz and was so impressed with their professionalism that I decided to work here.

I grew up in San Diego and have lived in several states, including Ohio, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina. I have also lived internationally in England and France where I taught at the International School of Paris. Santa Cruz has been my home now for many years. I live on the Westside near UCSC and the Pogonip Reserve. My husband, Jim, works up at the university, and we have two sons in college: One in San Diego and the other in Japan. So, we are technically “empty nesters” except for our third child, our 15-year-old chihuahua, Sisi. 

In my spare time I enjoy biking, hiking and open ocean swimming. The weather and natural beauty of Santa Cruz continues to amaze me! Between the spectacular wild coastline and the redwood forested mountains, outdoor activities abound here and are available year-round. Lately, I have gotten into genealogy and the time seems to slip away as I delve deeper and deeper into my ancestry. I enjoy cooking and have been trying my hand at more vegan/vegetarian recipes. It always fun to find a healthy hack! I also spend time working with the California Association of Realtors where I help write exams that will be used to certify future real estate agents and brokers.
